Here it is--the long-awaited post on homemade pop-tarts. These are so incredibly easy to make and you can fill them with just about anything you want. We used our homemade frangipane, nutella, strawberry preserves, and blueberry preserves for our fillings. This was one of the last projects I worked on at The Los Angeles Times test kitchen and definitely one of my favorites. Can you recognize the hands below?
